Budget measures to target growth of Technology Sector

Earlier this month, Chancellor Jeremy Hunt unveiled a budget seeking to encourage growth and innovation in the UK economy. This included some positive measures to encourage investment in innovative technologies, but some of the headline-grabbing tax measures were arguably just repackaging of existing incentives, or a partial reversal of measures announced in November. 


Innovative companies will welcome the positive changes announced in respect of R&D tax credits, but will note that even after these measures the regime remains less generous in most respects than it was a year ago. For more details please watch our Spring Budget Seminar or read our full Spring Budget Summary
